Nantwich Food and Drink Festival unveils new backers
Nantwich Food and Drink Festival organisers have welcomed two major sponsors onboard. Event management specialist and training provider ESTC is supporting the event by providing security.
Nantwich Museum will stage a costumed event on “Elizabethan Food” this weekend. The demonstrations are part of the Pillory Street venue’s “Nantwich under the two Elizabeths” exhibition.
Football fans who like to play at a gentler pace can sign up to a one-off session being staged at Nantwich Town FC. The “Walking Football” event at the Weaver Stadium is aimed at the older generation still keen on playing the sport they love.

Visitors to Nantwich Museum can view the London 2012 Olympic Torch carried in Crewe by Andy Fewtrell on May 31. Andy was one of 8,000 torchbearers involved in the countrywide relay who were able to retain their torches.
Families in Nantwich are enjoying the latest maize maze opened at Reaseheath College in time for the summer holidays. And as well the maize re-opening, the college has also opened its campus zoo to the public.
