Odiyana Buddhist Centre is running a 11-week meditation course at Crewe Lifestyle Centre.
The course is based on the renowned “8 Verses of Training the Mind” which was composed in the 11th century.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the annual Crib Service held at St Mary’s Church Nantwich on Christmas Eve.

A festive equestrian event held at Reaseheath in Nantwich has helped raise vital funds for the Riding for Disabled Group.
The event, organised by The Equine Network, was a sell out and included a Christmas Fair and Demonstration at Reaseheath College.
Nantwich is set to host the annual “Battle of Nantwich” re-enactment once again on January 21.
The “Holly Holy Day” celebration marks the 1644 Battle in the town, which proved to be one of the key events in the English Civil War between the Royalists and Parliamentarians.

It finally feels like Christmas when panto season starts.
Excited audiences (including me) were welcomed to Crewe Lyceum this week to celebrate the magical story of Aladdin.
“Outlook” exhibition by IntaStitch has opened at Nantwich Museum and runs until Saturday February 25.
It’s a free exhibition in the Millennium Gallery and features a variety of techniques, including printing, dying, embroidery, machine stitching, feltwork, painting, applique, quilting and more.
