Cheshire East Council’s head of finance Lisa Quinn has quit, it emerged today. Ms Quinn (left in picture), director of finance and business services, left her job by mutual agreement on Friday, a Cheshire East statement has revealed.

Rail chiefs have warned that three level crossings in Nantwich could be closed down if Muller Property’s “Nantwich South” plans are approved. The warning comes in a Network Rail objection to a first phase application by Muller for their 1,100-home development in Stapeley.
Nantwich-based John Dwyer has become Cheshire’s new Police and Crime Commissioner. Conservative candidate Mr Dwyer, a former Crewe & Nantwich Borough councillor, won the election after today’s count.
