The incident happened in a semi-detached property on Thirlmere Road at around 3.30pm yesterday (Sunday).
A fire crew from Nantwich was called out to a chip pan blaze at a house in Stapeley. Crews were called to a property on Broad Lane where the fire had already been extinguished.
