A fund-raising “Make Time for our Christmas Concert” has helped raise vital funds to restore the St Mary’s Church clockface in Acton, near Nantwich.
The concert featured the highly acclaimed Acton Operatic Society who performed traditional and contemporary Christmas songs.

Concordia performed a Christmas choral music concert at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich on Saturday.
Alison Phillips was the conductor, accompanied by John Gough on piano.
A seasonal concert is being staged by The Nantwich Singers on December 12.
The performance is called ‘Welcome, Yule!’ and will be held in St Mary’s Church, Nantwich at 3pm.

A fund-raising “Make Time for our Christmas Concert” will take place in aid of the clock of Acton’s St Mary’s church tower.
The event is on Saturday December 11 at St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton, and will feature the highly acclaimed Acton Operatic Society.
Nantwich Choral Society is back in action and will stage a live performance at St Mary’s Church on November 13.
It is the first concert of a “new era” for the society, and will start at 7.30pm.

Audiences were entertained at Wistaston Community Council’s annual ‘Christmas Concert’ at St Mary’s Church Hall in Wistaston.
The concert featured the Wells Green Choir led by Myra Wood, Wistaston Church Lane Academy Choir led by Helen Collett and soloist Alana Scott.
Nantwich Museum is staging a Drop-in Sing-a-long concert of Christmas music by the Wistaston Singers 11am-12pm Saturday December 21.
The museum shop will be open offering goods including Christmas cards, other greeting cards, games, toys, souvenirs, craft work including jewellery.
The local Marie Curie Support Group is organising a concert in conjunction with The Funky Choir. The concert will be held on November 16 at Nantwich Methodist Church, Hospital Street, Nantwich at 7pm for 7.30pm. The concert featured soprano Jessica Thayer, accompanied by pianist Sally Birkett, who performed show-stopping hits from Puccini to Cole Porter.
