I was saddened and disappointed that Ofsted has found that some of most vulnerable of our children and young people in the Borough have not been best-served by the organisations across Cheshire East that have a duty to protect them.

Child exploitation cases involving 304 children were reported to Cheshire East Council last year, new figures show.
And more than 170 of those children were later referred to social services.
Police visited scores of businesses in a week-long campaign to root out gangs exploiting workers in South Cheshire.
Officers joined forces with other agencies to visit premises around the county.
