New ‘Men Walking and Talking’ group launches in Nantwich

A new community initiative aimed at promoting men’s mental health and physical wellbeing is launching in Nantwich.

The group, part of the national ‘Men Walking and Talking’ network, will hold its first walk on Wednesday December 18 at 6.30pm from the Nantwich War Memorial in the town centre.

A Nantwich woman has launched a new support group for females in the town, called HerSpace.

The network, which already has groups in Sandbach, Congleton and Macclesfield, aims to give women a space to socialise and focus on mental wellbeing.

Group sews “scrubs” for Leighton Hospital staff helping COVID-19 patients

Local volunteers are making and sourcing scrubs for NHS staff in South Cheshire helping COVID-19 patients.
