Dog paddock plan for field near Nantwich sparks objections

Plans to use a field at Walgherton near Nantwich as a dog exercise paddock have sparked objections from neighbours and the parish council.

Steve Newman has applied to Cheshire East Council for permission to use part of a field at Ballaglass, off London Road, as a fully enclosed paddock for members of the public to exercise their dogs.

Nantwich residents air concerns over new car wash plans

Plans for a car wash on vacant land near Nantwich Town’s stadium have sparked noise and environmental concerns as well as traffic-related fears.

A total of 34 residents – mainly neighbours – have objected to the proposal earmarked for land which is sometimes used as an overspill car park on match days.

Councillors and neighbours have objected to plans for treehouse-style lodge holiday scheme at Faddiley near Nantwich.

Cheshire East planning officers have recommended approval for the application for four new holiday lodges and the conversion of an existing building to a lodge at Sevenoaks, Hearns Lane, despite objections from neighbours.
