King Charles I will be making a special “Royal” appearance at the 50th anniversary of the “Battle of Nantwich” this Saturday.
The Monarch who sat on the throne back in 1644 at the real Battle of Nantwich between the Cavaliers and Roundheads is making a comeback!

St Mary’s Church in Acton hosted two royal-themed events during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations with an exhibition and a Tea at the Tower community café.
Both events were free entry, with donations received, and started with an exhibition on Saturday illustrating key events throughout Her Majesty’s 70-year reign.
Animal Management students at Reaseheath College in Nantwich have received royal approval after they built a palatial home for insects.
The students modelled “Bug’ingham Palace” on the Queen’s London residence and built it from packing cases, wood offcuts, chicken wire, branches and foliage from native trees.
It’s Royal weekend with a difference for St Luke’s Hospice Cheshire as staff and volunteers prepare to celebrate its 30th birthday.
While Prince Harry weds Meghan Markle, staff and volunteers at St Luke’s will remember how his parents Princess Diana and Prince Charles officially opened the hospice back in 1988.
Nantwich students enjoyed success at the Royal Cheshire County Show.
Reaseheath College agriculture students competed in cattle and pig showing classes, winning a series of awards.
