More than 70 members of Nantwich Running Club took part in their annual ‘Christmas lights run’.
The runners all met at The Woodside pub in Wistaston and seven groups ran a distance of either 3 miles, 4.5 miles or 6 miles.

They sported ghoulishly good Halloween get-ups including skeletons, ghosts, witches, and even a T-Rex dinosaur!
Nantwich duathlete Katie Latham has continued her form as she prepares for the World Duathlon Championships next year.
The 37-year-old won the ladies section of the Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Standard Duathlon in 2 hours 36 minutes and 31 seconds.

Nantwich Running Club had runners competing at all four venues in team and individual competitions during the league this year.

Nantwich runners pulled on a range of garish knitwear to mark the annual ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ during a training run.
The run was organised by Nantwich Running Club member Zoe Buckley and raised £145 for Save the Children, who are dedicated to transforming the lives of children.
Nantwich Running Club has won England Athletics “Club of the Year” for the North West Region at a ceremony this week.
The club received a framed certificate and trophy from Sarah Friday, Club Support Manager, at the England Athletics Volunteer Awards 2022 at Blackburn Rovers FC on Thursday (November 24).

Twenty-eight members of Nantwich Running Club competed in the Manchester Marathon, with James Tilley achieving a top 25 finish.
Tilley finished with a time of 02:28:23 in what is the second-largest marathon event in the UK and the fourth largest in Europe.

The inaugural Nantwich 10k Road Race was a massive hit with organisers and participants.
The race took 250 participants on a 10 kilometre (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads, starting on Waterlode opposite Nantwich Town Football Club.
New Nantwich Running Club is making major strides after hitting almost 300 members in just a few months.
The club was launched by Willaston runner Mike Stevens earlier this year.
