Villagers in Wistaston and Willaston are mourning the death of popular Revd Ken Sambrook.
Ken passed away on Wednesday (November 10) after a brief spell in hospital.

Villagers in Wistaston and Willaston are mourning the death of popular Revd Ken Sambrook.
Ken passed away on Wednesday (November 10) after a brief spell in hospital.
The “maze” area of Willaston village has been renamed and a memorial tree planted in honour of the late Maurice Jones.
Maurice, who died two years ago, was a past chairman of Willaston Parish Council and a former Mayor of Crewe and Nantwich Borough.
Tributes have been paid to former Crewe & Nantwich Mayor and Willaston Parish Council chair Maurice Jones who has died.
Maurice was Chairman of Willaston Parish Council from 2011 until May this year.
Cllr Craig Bailey has taken over the chain of office as chairman of Willaston Parish Council.
He succeeds Maurice Jones, who had been chairman since 2011 and is now retiring from civic life.
A planning application for dozens of new houses in a busy village near Nantwich looks set to be refused. The plans submitted for 40 homes to the rear of Eastern Road in Willaston by Richard Lee Ltd, have sparked objections from campaigners.
Residents and councillors in Willaston are calling on home builders to resolve parking problems on a new development. Villagers say vehicles being parked on grass verges on the new Meadow View development are leaving the verges “unsightly” and causing an “eyesore”.
Willaston residents have hit out at plans to build 21 new homes on land off Cheerbrook Road, Nantwich. They believe the village cannot cope with more houses which will increase traffic, loss of open space and put pressure on local services.
