Two young tennis aces from the village of Wistaston are heading to play at Wimbledon!
George Raiswell and Charlie Robinson, from Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club, won their way to perform at the hallowed All England Lawn Tennis Club after winning a regional final.
There is a packed summer of UK tennis to look forward to, and the 2023 Wimbledon Championships is on the horizon.
This year’s edition will take place in July, but there is plenty of tennis to be played at grassroots and professional level before then.

A Wimbledon themed charity tennis tournament takes place at Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club this Sunday.
The Club’s two courts are located behind the Wistaston Memorial Hall & Community Centre on Church Lane in Wistaston.
Nantwich tennis starlet Robin Bloomer insisted he can hold his head up high despite falling just short of a dream outing at Wimbledon.
Robin, a Brine Leas School student, had the chance to book himself a spot at the world-famous venue when he competed in the HSBC Road to Wimbledon North Regional Qualifier.
