Police are probing a vandal attack on around 20 cars in the same Nantwich street.

All the cars were parked on Queens Drive in Nantwich and were scratched with a key or something similar, officers say.

Network Rail chiefs have issued another warning to Nantwich residents and rail passengers over the temporary closure of the busy Newcastle Road level crossing in January.

The closure, according to Network Rail, is to allow a team of engineers to perform “essential renewal work” to the crossing.
