A Nantwich grandmother who penned her first book during Covid lockdown has successfully published it.
Amy Damatt, of Wellington Road, wrote the educational children’s story “A Puppy’s Tale by Rex” from the perspective of a rescued pup living with his owner and dogs of different ages and sizes.

I want to thank the group of teenagers who helped when my dog was attacked on 29th November.
It was about 5.40pm at the crossroads of Manor Road and Beam Street in Nantwich.
Four people were injured and taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the A534 Wrexham Road near Nantwich.
The accident happened at Burland and one of the injured had to be flown by air ambulance to hospital after being cut free from the wreckage.
