Dear Editor,
It’s ‘Budget’ time again at Cheshire East.
Public consultations are over, last year’s performances have been checked and new budget proposals examined.
Valentine’s Day can be a bit like marmite. Some people love to celebrate love, and others hate it.
Some people show love through gift-giving, and others express their love through time together.
Many people’s exercise habits have changed during COVID-19 and many have found that working out at home to be a great way to stay in shape.

Dear Editor,
As a nation of animal lovers we are calling on your readers to speak up for animals to make sure that animal sentience becomes enshrined in UK law.

Dear Editor,
I’m sure you are sick of Covid as much as the rest of us.
But I went for a pcr test in Crewe yesterday with my 14-year-old as it’s been Xmas.
Every year, according to the Office of National Statistics, more than 2,500 people get married in Cheshire.
The county has the second highest number of couples getting married in the country – that shows just how romantic Cheshire is!
Dear Editor,
The Cheshire East Speed Management Strategy is out for consultation until 31st January, following on from the Motion passed at Council in Nov 2020.
We need your help to shape this strategy to implement 20mph speed limits on local roads, housing estates and in town and village centres and 40mph on country lanes.
