From December 1st local people will not be able to walk into the A&E at Leighton Hospital.
We have had this right for 72 years, since the NHS was established and now it is being taken away.

With another national lockdown in place, Age UK has sadly had to close the doors of its 250 charity shops across the country for a second time.
But some good news is there’s still a way for locals in the North West to bag themselves a bargain and support older people most in need whilst their nearest Age UK shop is closed.

The demolition of Crewe’s vacant Royal Arcade shopping centre has begun.
‘Putting Crewe First’ says that the site should be used as a convenient town centre car park, until it is needed for redevelopment, to encourage shoppers back into the town, after the four week lockdown closure of all non-food shops.
Park View Business Centre between Nantwich and Whitchurch has completed and achieved full occupancy of its latest office development.
Five new tenants have been attracted to the area and alongside the new Park View Café, it brings the next phase of expansion work complete.
Nantwich Town chairman and entrepreneur Jon Gold is launching a new business which he brought to “life” during lockdown.
Jon, who runs a successful music retail operation, used his spare time during the pandemic developing a new vision for his “Broking Group” business offering protection for firms, individuals and families.

This may be via click & collect or delivery, takeaway services, buying gift cards, online classes, virtual markets, and shopping online.
Volunteers for the Samaritans of South Cheshire have been playing a vital support role for people struggling in an unprecedented year.
The pandemic has left many with feelings of despair and more than ever before have been turning to this essential service for help.
