According to an article in the Independent in May 2019, women in the UK own more than £6.2 billion worth of unworn jewellery.
This study found that two thirds of women wore the same pieces from their collection everyday, instead of rotating pieces within their jewellery boxes.

Last year, thousands of people came together to attend 157 local Christingle services across the Diocese of Chester.

I’m writing to let readers know that we have a very special festive treat for children with vision impairment in the run up to Christmas.
As you know, Santa receives millions of letters from children each year and works hard to respond to every single one – but he knows that often children with vision impairment are not able to read his reply.
Twenty-five years ago, RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre & Cattery in Nantwich opened its doors and has since treated more than 130,000 animals.
Wildlife supervisor Rob Scrivens has been at the Nantwich centre since day one and shares his memories.
