Former Hunters Lodge Hotel to be demolished for care home and housing

The former Hunters Lodge Hotel in Crewe which has held many local weddings and other functions for decades, is to be bulldozed and replaced with a care home and 55 dwellings.

Cheshire East’s southern planning committee gave the go-ahead for the scheme despite hearing there would be some incursion into the Green Gap.
