Councillors demand action on blocked gullies amid flood problems

Councillors in Cheshire East are again calling for action to clear blocked gullies – claiming their regular reports of problems are falling on deaf ears.

Cheshire East Council has stepped up efforts to clear gullies following the major flooding which first hit the borough last summer – with an extra two gully emptying machines being used.
