Caring students and staff in Nantwich have raised a record £20,380 for Macmillan Cancer Support – with more to come.

Members of Reaseheath College’s Student Association presented a bumper cheque to the cancer charity at the student summer ball.

The championships saw participants in each of the 144 plots battling for 30 minutes to collect as many worms as possible from a 3×3 metre piece of land.
