Students at Cheshire College – South & West have celebrated their annual awards at the college’s Crewe campus.

Celebrating the achievements of learners over the past 12 months, 33 individual awards were presented in front of parents, family, friends, college colleagues and employers.

Reaseheath College to launch new fleet of free coach services for students

Reaseheath College has contracted a new fleet of coaches to transport students between its Nantwich campus and their homes across Cheshire and surrounding counties.

The network of 24 coach services will provide students with free home to college transport from September from as far away as the Wirral, Macclesfield, Stockport, Telford, Uttoxeter Shrewsbury, Craven Arms and Ruthin.

Cheshire East councillors have backed a £1 million expansion of a school in South Cheshire for children with special educational needs.

Springfield Special School, in Crewe, is to increase from 132 pupils places to 156 under proposals backed by the council’s cabinet.

Students at Cheshire College – South & West will be getting their hands on Bentley’s first ever high voltage vehicle, the Bentayga Hybrid.

The vehicle will be based at the college’s dedicated training facility in Crewe, which supports existing Bentley colleagues and new apprentices.

It was the Nantwich college’s second accolade of the day, after also winning the title of Best Speciality Trade Stand in the Cheshire East Rural Life Area.
