Nantwich Town Ladies’ run of pre-season victories continued with another dominant display in beating Altrincham Women 8-1.
It was the debut match for the Dabbers women on the new Swansway Stadium 3G artificial pitch.

More than 460 fans watched on as the Dabbers fell to a 2-1 defeat in an entertaining encounter.

It wasn’t the start Paul Carden hoped for as he saw his Nantwich Town side beaten 1-0 away at Avro in the Northern Premier League West.
The Dabbers would have been hoping for a fast start after last season’s relegation.

Nantwich Town made a successful trip to North Wales where they beat Cymru North Champions Colwyn Bay in their third pre-season fixture.
After already picking up back-to-back wins in their first two friendlies, The Dabbers were looking to maintain their good form.

Nantwich Town Ladies FC suffered defeat away at Northwich Vixens as they got their pre-season campaign underway at The Park Stadium.
Dan Mellor’s players lost 3-2 with goals from Jade Buckley-Ratcliff and Dani Fisher-Sherratt for the Dabbers.
Nantwich Town’s manager Paul Carden has committed to the Dabbers for two more years.
Carden was brought in by the club during the 2022-23 season but despite an upturn in form was unable to save them from relegation.
