The annual ‘Steam & Vintage Rally’ will take place at The Peacock Railway in Willaston on Sunday July 23rd.
The rally is organised by the members of the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society.
Staff and volunteers at Nantwich Museum are preparing for a Summer of Science Festival and the Nantwich Illuminated exhibition, which focuses on the site of Nantwich’s former gas works.
Both events will run throughout the school summer holidays from Wednesday 19 July until Saturday 30 September 2023.

Eight artists from the Nantwich Life Drawing group in Nantwich Civic Hall are exhibiting in a show called ‘Bare Essentials’.
Members of the group are sharing four works each in a range of media and styles at the exhibition in Nantwich Library.
Nantwich Food Festival organisers have lined up more top chefs to appear at this year’s event in September.
Lesley Waters, Simon Rimmer, Jack Stein and Nigel Brown are set to perform during the three-day event September 1-3.
More top name acts have been added to the line-up for “Hitchfest” – a new music festival taking place near Nantwich next month.
The festival is being held at The Bickerton Poacher over the weekend of July 7-9.

The 44th annual event took place in warm weather in the grounds of Willaston Primary Academy on Derwent Close.

The public has until September 3 to vote for their favourite venues in a range of categories, including “Best Customer Engagement” sponsored by Nantwich News.

Nantwich Choral Society is celebrating its special friendship with counterparts in France with a summer concert.
The singers are set to welcome a choir from Macon in France, Arpège à Coeur Joie, who will perform with them at St Mary’s Church on June 24 at 7.30pm.
Cat Xtra, the sister station of local community radio station The Cat, is now broadcasting on small scale digital radio on the Crewe and Nantwich multiplex in South Cheshire.
Cat Xtra started out as a project aimed at getting younger people into radio.
The Nantwich Singers will be performing their summer concert “Music for a Summer’s Day” on July 13.
The concert will take place in St Mary’s Church in Nantwich.
