The family of a South Cheshire boy with life-limiting muscular dystrophy, have raised £1,500 at an annual concert.
The fifth ‘Voice and Brass’ charity performance was held in honour of Neil and Karen Robinson’s eight-year-old son Thomas (pictured).
Members of Crewe & Nantwich U3A were joined by MP Edward Timpson at the group’s 21st birthday celebrations – which raised £660 in the process.
Mr Timpson was joined by Cllr Dennis Straine-Frances, Mayor of Crewe, and more than 150 U3A members and friends at the event at Crewe Alex FC.

Members of Crewe Amateur Musical Society have been busy in rehearsals for their latest production of Oliver.
The society will be performing their version of the classic at Crewe Lyceum Theatre from April 6 to 9.
Rehearsals are in full swing for a special Easter performance by Nantwich Choral Society.
The 100-strong society will present JS Bach’s St John Passion in St Mary’s Church at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 19.

Nantwich Singers will be performing a special JS Bach concert in the town on April 2. The performance will take place on Saturday March 19 at 7.30pm.
