The new Nantwich Roots Festival begins tomorrow celebrating folk, roots and Americana and bringing internationally known names to Nantwich.
It is also giving a stage to new, emerging acts in the town from May 11-15.
Reaseheath College will mark a double celebration when it holds an action-packed Family Festival on its Nantwich campus on Sunday May 15.

The popular monthly “Off the rails car meet” events have been renamed “The weekend runaways meet” and have moved to a different location in Crewe.
The meets are now taking place at The Sydney Arms pub on Sydney Road, Crewe.
A host of top entertainers are lining up for live appearances and the inaugural Nantwich Roots festival.
The festival, which runs from May 11-15, is organised as a “sister” event by those behind the popular Words and Music Festival.
A new Creative Writing course is being launched as part of the community education programme at Brine Leas School in Nantwich.
Liam Doran, an Associate Lecturer, will run the course starting on Thursday April 28.

Wybunbury Fig Pie Wakes returns to the village of Wybunbury on Saturday June 11 after a three-year break due to the pandemic.
The family friendly event is organised primarily by the Wybunbury Tower Preservation Trust and opens at 1pm with the pie rolling from 3pm.
Organisers of the new Dorfold Hall Food and Drink Festival in July have announced some of the live music acts to perform.
The event, on July 23-24, will take place on the site where Nantwich Show was staged for many years before it.
