An inaugural ‘Christmas Tree Festival’ at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich has helped raise valuable funds for St Luke’s Hospice.
There were 48 Christmas trees on display inside the church during the three-day event at the weekend.
Nantwich Food Festival volunteers held another successful pre-Christmas Drop-off and Go collection of donations for Nantwich Foodbank.
Generous residents donated more than one tonne of donations of food and gifts during the event held at Brine Leas School.

Cheshire Police have seized and destroyed six e-scooters ridden on public highways in Crewe – and warn they will do the same in all towns if parents buy them for children at Christmas.

Extra care housing (ECH) is specifically designed to support older people to remain independent for as long as possible but also to support them as their care needs increase.
Police have arrested a youth in Nantwich accused for assaulting a man who asked him to stop riding a motor scooter on a footpath.
Officers confirmed today the youth, who cannot be named, was arrested and has been bailed to a young offenders institution.
