Agatha Christie fans won’t be disappointed with the latest production to be shown at The Lyceum this week.
The Mousetrap has been running in London since 1952.
Sporty pupils from two Nantwich primary schools gained playing tips from Crewe Alexandra apprentices at tournaments arranged through Reaseheath College.
The tournaments are part of an assessment for the apprentices, who are studying for an academic qualification at Reaseheath as part of their full time training programme with the club.
Crewe Lyceum has announced that former X Factor star Chico will be joining comedy legends Cannon and Ball to star in the venue’s 2019 pantomime Peter Pan.
Chico, who will be starring as ‘Big Chief Chico’, leader of The Neverlanders, became a household name as a finalist on the hit ITV talent show.
Held over 3 days the festival will once again include a fantastic line up to wow the crowds including chart-topping “Dancing In The Moonlight” band Toploader, 70s pop legends Showaddywaddy, singer-songwriter Emma Stevens, electro swing band Electric Swing Circus and Macclesfield-based rock duo The Virginmarys who sell out venues up and down the country. The 1st Cheshire Drama Festival took place this weekend at Nantwich Players Theatre.
