Offenders smashed their way in to the Co-op store on Crewe Road at around 2am yesterday (February 3).

Controversial changes to CEC car parks begin next month
Motorists are being warned to be aware of controversial changes to car parks in Cheshire East which go live from Monday December 2.
From that date, parking charges will come into effect at most CEC-owned car parks where parking is currently free.

Cheshire East Council chiefs are being urged to plough an extra £2.7 million into its highways budget amid claims the council has lost interest in looking after its transport infrastructure.
The highways and transport committee voted yesterday (January 13) to ask for the cash.
