Nantwich’s top eateries gathered for a celebration of the town’s Food and Drink Festival – and for the annual “Nantwich Foodies” awards.
Residence Bar and Restaurant on Mill Street hosted the awards night which unveiled the results in the public’s favourite places to drink and eat.
Four men have been jailed after filming their dogs during a horrific attack on a badger sett and a fox near Nantwich. One RSPCA inspector said the attacks, which took place in Hankelow, were the “most appalling act of cruelty and barbaric fighting” he had ever seen.
