Volunteers for Nantwich in Bloom are celebrating after scooping a Gold at the North West in Bloom Awards last night (October 31).
They won Gold in the “Large Town” category, continuing a long tradition of winning awards for many years.
Green fingers are busy across Nantwich as the town bids for glory in a major floral contest.
North West in Bloom judges will visit on August 5 and volunteers with Nantwich in Bloom hope the town has what it takes to scoop Gold for the 15th year in a row.

The Canal and Rivers Trust has urged people to limit their use of canal towpaths around Cheshire during the COVID-19 pandemic.
