Top UK apprentices celebrated at Reaseheath College in Nantwich

The next generation of highly skilled construction plant maintenance apprentices received final awards at a presentation at Reaseheath College in Nantwich.

Seventy-five trainee engineers from across the country were joined by employers to celebrate a 100% success rate on the completion of their Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Construction Plant Maintenance.

Reaseheath College has contracted a new fleet of coaches to transport students between its Nantwich campus and their homes across Cheshire and surrounding counties.

The network of 24 coach services will provide students with free home to college transport from September from as far away as the Wirral, Macclesfield, Stockport, Telford, Uttoxeter Shrewsbury, Craven Arms and Ruthin.

Nantwich-Crewe Midnight Walk helps raise more than £100,000 for St Luke’s Hospice

Hundreds of women dressed in 80s clothes did the Midnight Walk through the streets of Nantwich and Crewe to raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice.

The Walk, returning for the 14th year, saw hundreds of ladies walk either the full 13.1-mile route or the “half moon” of six miles from Reaseheath College through the streets of Crewe and Nantwich finishing back at Reaseheath in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Reaseheath College scoops top honours at Royal Cheshire Show

Reaseheath College celebrated its greatest victory at the Royal Cheshire Show when its stand was awarded the Overall Championship in the Trade Stand section.

It was the Nantwich college’s second accolade of the day, after also winning the title of Best Speciality Trade Stand in the Cheshire East Rural Life Area.
