The UK’s largest training and research centre for vertical farming has been completed at Reaseheath College and University Centre in Nantwich.

Vertical farming is the practice of growing plants indoors under fully controlled and sterile conditions in stacked layers.

Reaseheath Vice Principal retires after 36 years’ service

One of Reaseheath College’s longest serving staff members, Vice Principal Dave Kynaston, has retired after 36 years of unbroken service at the Nantwich college.

Dave was a student at the then Cheshire College of Agriculture in 1977 and returned in 1983 to become a lecturer in farm building construction, estate maintenance, mechanisation and engineering.
