The Nantwich Choral Society is performing JS Bach’s “St John Passion” in St Mary’s Church next month.
The performance will take place on Saturday March 19 at 7.30pm.
St Mary’s Church Nantwich holds popular Crib Service

The annual Crib Service took place at St Mary’s Church Nantwich on Christmas Eve.
This re-telling of the Christmas story was performed, with a modern twist in parts, by a mixture of adults, young people and children at 2.30pm, 4pm and 5.30pm.

The Wistaston Singers performed at a Christmas Carol concert at St Stephen’s Methodist Church in Crewe.
Phil Houghton was musical director and organist and also introduced each carol and soloist. Jane Hale was the accompanist.
Nantwich Singers to stage Christmas concert at St Mary’s Church
The Nantwich Singers will perform a Christmas Concert in St Mary’s Parish Church on December 12.
The programme will include Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, a sequence of 10 carols for 4-part choir, with spectacular accompaniment by solo harp.

Hundreds of people gathered in St Mary’s Church in Nantwich to enjoy legendary singer Barbara Dickson’s acoustic set as part of Words & Music Festival 2015.
Famous for her lead roles in West End musicals, unforgettable hit singles and as an actress, Dickson took to the stage with her pianist accompanying her, opening the set with the ever popular ‘Another Suitcase in Another Hall’, much to the crowd’s delight.
Reaseheath College graduates celebrate at Nantwich ceremony
New graduates from Reaseheath College have been celebrating at the Faculty of Higher Education (HE) graduation ceremony in Nantwich.
The ceremony, at St Mary’s Church, celebrated the success of 116 graduates who successfully completed degrees validated by Harper Adams University.
