Hundreds of people enjoyed the Wistaston Village Fete at Wistaston Church Lane Academy.
It started with a special parade from the school car park to the arena to celebrate the school’s 150th anniversary.

The annual Wistaston Village Fete proved a big hit as hundreds of people enjoyed the event.
It was organised by the Wistaston Community Council and took place at Wistaston Church Lane Academy on Church Lane.
Worleston residents will be staging their popular village fete on July 22.
Families will be treated to a host of entertainment between 11am and 4pm, with admission and parking free.

Hankelow Village Fete helped to raise hundreds of pounds for local causes.
The event took place on Hankelow village green yesterday (June 19).
Worleston will be staging its village fete on July 25 with a host of entertainment on offer.
The event, to be staged at St Oswald’s Primary School, will feature Nantwich Concert Band among others.

Hundreds of families enjoyed another fun-packed Willaston Village Fete, writes Jonathan White.
The annual event, organised by Willaston Parish Council, took place on the Lettie Spencer Playing Fields, off Wybunbury Road.
Hundreds of families are expected at this weekend’s Wistaston Village Fete, which takes place on Saturday June 21. The fete will begin with a procession which will leave Wistaston Memorial Hall at 1.30pm.
Wistaston Village Fete takes place this Saturday June 15 with a procession from Wistaston Memorial Hall at 1.15pm. The parade will head to the grounds of St Mary’s Church Rectory on Church Lane for the opening and crowning of the Rose Queen at 1.45pm.
