The event, at Moss Farm Sports Complex, involved Alsager WFC, Altrincham WFC, Lambourne WFC, Nantwich Leopards WFC, Northwich WFC, Stockport County WFC and Winsford Blues.

RSPCA bosses in Nantwich are urging people to be on their guard after a swan was shot and killed on the River Weaver near Winsford.

The adult female bird was spotted on the river and taken to Stapele Grange wildlife centre where x-rays (pictured) confirmed she had been shot in the head by an air rifle.
