Richmond Village Nantwich staff clock up 60 years’ service

Three members of staff at Richmond Village Nantwich have been recognised for achieving a total of 60 years’ service.

Margaret Williams and Rebecca Reade, part of the housekeeping team, and hospitality manager Debbie Mercandelli have each been awarded 20-year service certificates, flowers and champagne.

More than 25% Leighton Hospital staff abused, bullied or harassed at work

More than a quarter of hospital staff in South Cheshire who took part in a survey said they experienced harassment, bullying or abuse last year.

Figures released by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Leighton Hospital, show that of 668 employees surveyed 168 said they had experienced harassment, bullying or abuse at work from patients, their relatives or members of the public.

A new state-of-the-art drone will be used to help police and fire crews tackle crime and incidents in Crewe and Nantwich.
