A South Cheshire woman has admitted stealing £43,000 from her own mentally ill mother who was living in an Audlem care home.

Cassie Stubbs, of Smallman Road, Crewe, pleaded guilty at Chester Crown Court yesterday (March 28) to theft from Rosita Stubbs and was given a suspended jail term.
