An RSPCA inspector is to run an amazing 1,500 miles across South Africa to raise money for Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in Nantwich. Campaigners fight Stapeley 1,300 home plans

Campaigners fighting to prevent more housing development in the Stapeley area of Nantwich have launched a new website to encourage others to join the protest. The site, www.protectstapeley.org.uk, highlights fears over potential development of 1,300 homes on land between Broad Lane, London Road,  Peter De Stapleigh Way, and the bridleway known as Deadman’s Lane.

An ePetition calling for a 20mph speed limit on all residential streets in Nantwich has just one week left to run. The petition, which is currently posted on the Cheshire East Council website, says lower traffic speed limits will improve lives of many in the town.
