Youngsters across South Cheshire have been honoured at the Everybody Health and Leisure 2022 Junior Awards.

The awards recognised children aged 5-11 for their inspirational efforts and contributions to local sporting and activity success.

Poppies were bought and worn with pride by thousands of people across the Nantwich area during the Remembrance period in November.

A Nantwich charitable organisation has received a cash boost after families flocked to a fundraising night at The Bickerton Poacher pub.

A wooden footbridge in Nantwich which has been out of action for months due to its dangerous condition, is to be finally rebuilt and open in time for Christmas.

Parking charges look set to be reviewed across Cheshire East as the council struggles to balance its books because of soaring inflation costs.
