Health and wellbeing charity Motherwell Cheshire is inviting employers to support female members of staff by signing a special workplace pledge.
The ‘Women in the Workplace Pledge’ is a new initiative by the Wistaston-based charity to break down stigmas around women’s health including the menopause and menstruation.

More than 11,300 households in Cheshire East have so far signed up to the council’s subscription scheme to have their garden waste bins emptied from next year.
Of those, 9,500 have already paid the annual £56 charge, which has boosted the council’s coffers by £532,000.

Cheshire East Council says matters relating to contaminated land have “almost been resolved” on a 263-home estate which is being lived in but doesn’t have planning permission.
The recently built Coppenhall Place, on the site of the former Crewe Works off West Street, was granted planning permission in 2018.
Police chiefs have confirmed they are investigating a gang of youths who vandalised a property and threatened residents with weapons.
The incident in Nantwich last night (October 23) was caught on CCTV, showing one of the youths brandishing a home-made spear.
