Probe into blaze which damaged house in Shavington
Fire chiefs are probing a blaze which has badly damaged a house in Shavington.
The incident happened on Sable Road at around 9pm last night (January 2).

The Gables, on Beam Street, is currently empty but was formerly used as a community club and offices.

A 23-year-old woman has been found guilty of murdering her fiancé after deliberately driving her car at him near their home in Cheshire.
Alice Wood was convicted of the murder of 24-year-old Ryan Watson at Chester Crown Court today (January 2) following a three-week trial.

Big-hearted members of the Nantwich Town Independent Supporters Association (NTISA) have raised hundreds of pounds in their charity Christmas hamper draw.
Donations of items for the four hampers were received from NTISA members and members of the public with each hamper containing dozens of products.

RSPCA Stapeley staff celebrate 2023 milestone figure
Staff at RSPCA Stapeley in Nantwich are celebrating a successful 2023 including a major expansion in the charity’s outreach work.
The RSPCA’s four education hubs in the UK, including Stapeley, are closing in on a milestone figure of the numbers of children and young people they have reached with animal welfare lessons.
