The new Mayor of Nantwich for 2021-22 is Cllr Stuart Bostock.
Cllr Bostock took the mayoral chains in a virtual ceremony held by Nantwich Town Council tonight (May 5).

“Pop up” household waste service considered by Cheshire East Council
Council chiefs could stage mobile “pop-up” household waste centres in Cheshire East under plans to revamp how it runs the service.
The idea emerged when the authority approved recommendations to procure a new contract for the running of the borough’s Household Waste Recycling Centres from 2023.

Mr Keane visited the park on Saturday where a minority of yobs have destroyed trees, set piles of rubbish on fire, left broken glass and litter across the park, and been seen driving cars and motorbikes recklessly on the grass.

More than 98% of Cheshire East parents have been given a primary school place of their choice, says the authority.
Figures show 92.8% of Cheshire East families received their first choice – an increase from 91.4% in 2020.
New Test and Trace Covid-19 pilot programme starts in Cheshire East
Cheshire East Council and NHS Test and Trace have launched a new pilot scheme to help reach individuals who have tested positive for coronavirus sooner.
Known as ‘Local-0’ (zero), it aims to contact positive cases faster by bringing them into local teams at the start of the tracing journey when the case is entered into the national NHS Test and Trace system.
