Nantwich Town’s new managers did not enjoy their first outing as the Dabbers slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Whitby Town.
The visitors had lost six and drawn of their opening seven matches so it looked a home banker for the Dabbers at the Swansway Stadium.
Ritchie Sutton and Gary Taylor-Fletcher have been appointed as new joint Nantwich Town managers.

Crewe & Nantwich came away from their second league game of the season in Midlands 1 West with a well deserved victory at Droitwich.
In what was a thoroughly entertaining match, played in near perfect conditions for rugby, Crewe ran out comfortable 34-5 victors.
Football fans are, generally, glass half-empty merchants, as opposed to enjoying the half-measure of beverage still residing in their receptacle.
And so there’s a contingent of Crewe Alexandra supporters – those who dig a bit deeper in their analysis of the beautiful game – that will be advising caution given that the Railwaymen have, at times, been outplayed this term and still come away with a positive result.

South Cheshire Harriers runners took part in the ‘South Cheshire 20’ one loop running race yesterday (September 4).
The race, starting and finishing at Shavington Leisure Centre, took runners on a hilly 20-mile loop of country lanes through villages of Shavington, Weston, Englesea Brook, Betley, Wrinehill, Shraleybrook, Audley, Barthomley, and Weston.
The Crewe Regional Sunday League began its 2022-23 season with almost 600 players registered and all scheduled fixtures being completed.
In the Premier Division, newly promoted Cooper Buckley travelled to Wheelock to play Cheshire Cheese, and played out a 2-2 draw.
