Rural bus services around Nantwich could be cut under new plans unveiled by Cheshire East Council.
But a direct service from the town to Leighton Hospital looks set to be reinstated if the proposals go ahead.
Four men including one from Wistaston have been jailed for a combined total of almost seven years following a street brawl in broad daylight in Crewe.

Nantwich Town Disability Football (NTDF) are hosting their annual ’24-hour Football-a-thon’ later this month.
The event will take place at Nantwich Town FC’s Swansway Stadium 3G pitch at 7pm on Friday May 31.
Nantwich residents entitled to Beam Heath Trust dividends can claim their payment this year on July 3.
The modest annual dividend is from an ancient trust, which was updated by the Beam Heath Act, 1823.

Despite his nationwide string of defeats in last Thursday’s elections, Rishi Sunak says he’s confident that voters will “stick with” the Conservative Party at the next election.
That would be a novelty, given that even his own party members did not stick with him – when he went head to head with Liz Truss to be Tory leader, they voted for her instead of him, and as the loser he only got to take her place after she crashed the economy.
