Plans submitted for 650-home “village” near historic Crewe Hall

Outline plans for a new 650-home South Cheshire Growth Village on a greenfield site near historic Crewe Hall will be considered by Cheshire East’s strategic planning board.

The outline application, submitted by Bloor Homes, has been recommended for approval subject to conditions.

Britain in Bloom judges from The Royal Horticultural Society toured Wistaston to judge the village in the Town category of the Britain in Bloom 2023 UK Finals.

Two judges met chairman of Wistaston Parish Council John Moore and members of the Wistaston in Bloom group and Wistaston Conservation Group.

There were three fixtures during the day. Under 11s v Under 9s (15 over game), Ladies vs Under 15s (100 ball game) and current players vs past players (100 ball game).
