Nantwich Town will host National League North side Chester FC in a pre-season friendly on Saturday August 7 at the Optimum Pay Stadium.

Chester are currently managed by former Salford City joint-managers Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson who joined in 2018.

Calm 84 FC Crewe, a new charity football team in Crewe, have raised more than £850 in aid of cancer-hit young goalkeeper Ashton Hulme.

It was their first fund-raising match and they played a Crewe Alexandra Coaches XI at the Alexandra Stadium behind closed doors due to government Covid restrictions.
