Cheshire East Council is becoming more successful in defending planning appeals, new figures appear to suggest.
The number of missed bin collections by Cheshire East Council has risen by almost 50%, according to latest figures obtained by Nantwich News.
The number of complaints about missed collections logged in 2018-19 reached a staggering 16,346 cases, figures show.

Eddisbury is Conservative again after Edward Timpson regained the seat for the Tories in emphatic style earlier today.
And he said that voters have had enough of “dither and delay” over Brexit.
New Crewe and Nantwich MP Dr Kieran Mullan said today his victory was “for democracy”.
The Conservative candidate registered a comprehensive win polling more than 28,000 votes, a majority of more than 8,000 over Labour’s Laura Smith.
Defeated Crewe and Nantwich Labour candidate Laura Smith today admitted she would have done things differently to Jeremy Corbyn.
Conservatives have taken back Crewe & Nantwich seat with Kieran Mullan ousting Labour’s Laura Smith.
Dr Mullan polled 28,704, while Ms Smith registered 20,196 votes, giving Conservtaives a healthy 8,508 majority.
Edward Timpson has been elected as Eddisbury MP for the Conservative Party.
Mr Timpson polled 30,095 votes, beating his nearest opponent Labour’s Terry Savage who secured 11,652.

The acting chief executive at Cheshire East Council, who was due to be made permanent next Thursday, is quitting to take on a new role in St Helens.
Candidates for the permanent chief executive position were interviewed by Cheshire East’s staffing committee in November.
Nantwich residents face a 7.5% hike in their town council portion of the council tax bill – to help fund new initiatives like a new Town Ranger.
