New Mayor of Nantwich takes robes at council meeting
The new Mayor of Nantwich Cllr Stuart Bostock took the robes and chain at a town council meeting last night (May 9).
Cllr Bostock takes over the role for 2024-25 from Cllr Steph Wedgwood.

A prolific shoplifter who has targeted stores in Nantwich and Crewe has been banned from entering convenience stores across the area as part of efforts to tackle his offending.
Ian McIntyre, 45, was handed the two-year order at Chester Magistrates’ Court following multiple incidents of shoplifting across Crewe and the surrounding areas.
Nantwich nightclub gets go ahead to open until 4.30am

Nantwich nightclub The Studio has been given permission to extend its opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays to 4.30am despite objections from some nearby residents.
The Studio, on Castle Street, currently has permission to open until 3.30am Monday to Saturday and until 2.30am on Sundays.
