A Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Church in Acton helped light up the village near Nantwich.
There was a grand opening with a guest appearance from Father Christmas, a ‘Candlelit Concert of Christmas Past’ by the Gallery Singers of Shrewsbury and an open event with prize raffle and light refreshments.
Scores of Nantwich and Crewe householders have been entering into the Christmas spirit once more with these amazing lights displays.

Yobs who vandalised Nantwich town centre’s Christmas tree, lights and decorations, have not been traced.
The vandals targeted the lower branches of the tree, ripping off baubles, damaging the base and stealing other electrical decorations.
Christmas will be celebrated at Nantwich Museum on Saturday December 17.
