Jake Long and Stanton Smith, both 11, are celebrating success after taking three top prizes as they represented the 7th SWC Nantwich Millfields Scout group at the 2019 competition.

Sporty pupils from two Nantwich primary schools gained playing tips from Crewe Alexandra apprentices at tournaments arranged through Reaseheath College.

The tournaments are part of an assessment for the apprentices, who are studying for an academic qualification at Reaseheath as part of their full time training programme with the club.

Schools in and around Nantwich will benefit from an extra £1 million buildings grant awarded to Cheshire East Council.
