Big-hearted members of Nantwich Running Club have donated Easter eggs to the local community.
The Easter eggs have been given to local charity ‘Chance Changing Lives’ and to the children’s ward at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

The founder and chair of Nantwich Running Club is to step away from his role, he has announced.
Mike Stevens, from Willaston, set up the club in 2021 and has been chairman and head coach since then.

More than 100 members of Nantwich Running Club took part in the annual Angela Twiss Timeless 5k and 10k Runs.
The event is a Sunday social run held in the summer months in memory of the wife of Ivor Twiss, one of the club’s founding members.

Five female members of Nantwich Running Club have completed the Rome Marathon.
The race on Saturday started in front of the Colosseum, the main symbol of the city.
Nantwich Running Club have scooped the England Athletics Volunteer Awards 2022 “Club of the Year, National Winner” title.
Club bosses picked up their awards at a presentation evening and dinner ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in Birmingham recently.

South Cheshire Harriers runners took part in the ‘South Cheshire 20’ one loop running race yesterday (September 4).
The race, starting and finishing at Shavington Leisure Centre, took runners on a hilly 20-mile loop of country lanes through villages of Shavington, Weston, Englesea Brook, Betley, Wrinehill, Shraleybrook, Audley, Barthomley, and Weston.

A Willaston man is training hard in readiness to run 10 x 10km races over the next 10 months to raise £10k for The Christie.
Anthony Stevens, 36, will start his first 10km race on March 6 in Trafford and finish his tenth and final 10km race on December 11 this year at Tatton Park.

The inaugural Nantwich 10k Road Race will take place on Sunday March 20.
The race has been organised by Mike Stevens, Founder of Nantwich Running Club.
